Metal Warriors Super Nintendo Cheats

Baseketball mode:
Wait for the Konami logo to change to a white background during the opening sequence. Hold Left + L + A on controller one and Up + Y + Select + R on controller two. Keep the buttons held until the LucasArts logo appears. Then select the "?????" option at the title screen to enter Basketball mode.

Hint: More damage:
Press A when close to an opponent.

Level hints:
Level 1 - Locate the area where your character goes down and finds a wall constructed of large round objects. Use a missile to blast through the wall and find a spider mech.
Level 2 - Use small missiles to blast through the large missiles to find a new gun at one point in the level.
Level 3 - Fly up and left from the start of the level to find a wall. Blast through it to find a better gun.

Special head-to-head mode:
Successfully complete the game, then return to the main menu. A ?????? option will be unlocked. This is a special head-to-head mode, where player one is in a Nitro, but is shaped like a basketball player. Player two is a Ballistic, but shaped like a basketball, with what appears to be a programmer's head inside. These two armors work exactly like they do normally, but with different graphics. The battle takes place in a strange battlefield where the gas tanks have been replaced with a fat sumo wrestler, the little destroyable blocks are milk bottles, and various other weird things. Note: You may need to kill the Axis Leader before reaching the shaft with the Nitro to unlock this mode.

The Tower bonus level:
Successfully complete level 7 without using any continues up to that point.

Secret platform:
When in the Ice stage in two player mode, use the Spider and get the upside-down item. Go to the far end and go to the lift. Move back a bit and use the upside-down item to reach the highest point of the level. You should see a few dots. Land on top of it and you will be standing on them. This will not work with any more warriors.

Glitch: Walk in space:
Get to the level where you need to defend the ship. Go to the left side of the ship then get out of your mech. You might have to destroy enemies first. Fly left, then stop and you will walk on it without seeing any platforms.

Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge Super Nintendo Cheats

Press L, A, B, L at the title screen. Change the default name (Partner) and press Start to begin game play.

Change difficulty:
Complete the game and view the ending credits. In any subsequent game, press B, A, L(2) at the title screen. The screen will change colors to confirm correct code entry. Begin another game to access a menu that will allow difficulty to be set to low, medium, or high.

Delete all saved game data:
Press Up(2), Down(2), L, R, L, R at the title screen.

Delete Standings data:
Press L, R, L, R at the title screen to display the data clear screen.

Demonstration mode:
Hold Right.

Alternate opponent costumes:
Before a one or two player battle, hold L+ R to your opponent appear in a gold costume, or R+ X to make them appear in an alternate color. You must keep the buttons held until the enemy ST appears on the screen. If it does work at first, try holding the buttons down earlier than you would usually do.

Fight as ST Tornado:
Complete normal training and reset the game. Press B, A, B, Y at the title screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Select "No", when prompted to continue, to fight as Falcon or Tornado.

Hint: Defeating GARAM2:
You can easily defeat GARAM2 in less than ten seconds with FALCON. First, charge a Treble Energy Bolt (it gives you the necessary time for it), then fire it at his chest. After GARAM receives the shot, he will jump, and you will see a small red-flashing point in his waist. That is his weak point. Aim carefully and shoot a Single Energy Bolt to it (again, he will give the necessary time to do it) and he will be destroyed no matter how much energy he has. Obviously, you have to aim very carefully when he jumps in order to shot him in the waist.

Hint: Defeating SIAMANG:
Charge a Treble Energy Bolt and shoot it at his tail. Repeat this step and he will be defeated.

Hint: Defeating ST WONG:
Charge a Treble Energy Bolt, and shoot it at one of his shields (hands). He will show you the opposite "elbow" (flashing red) of the shield you shot. For example, if you shot the left hand, then he will show right elbow and vice versa. Charge a Single Energy Bolt, aim very carefully and shoot it at the elbow which he showed you. If you hit the elbow, the shield will explode. Immediately after that the ST will open a cannon (flashing red) located in his head. Shoot this with a Single Energy Bolt. With the destruction of one of his shields and his head, you will seriously damage him (nearly 70% of his energy will be gone). If you miss the shot to his elbow, simply charge a Treble Energy Bolt and start again. It is very hard to hit it because it trembles a lot.

Hint: Defeating ARACHNUS:
It is not very difficult to defend against ARACHNUS. If you destroy his stomach, and if you have enough bombs, fire one to him when he is doing his attack. He will immediately stop doing it, and give you enough time to charge Single, Double and even Treble Energy Bolts to shoot him until he can be destroyed.

Hint: Easier dark fight:
Towards the end of the single player game, you will have to fight an ST in the dark. To make this battle easier, use the "Lightning Bomb" and the room will be illuminated properly for a fair fight.

Energy Chip: This chip will allow you to recover energy. Stand still and your energy level will slowly increase.
Arm Chip: This chip will increase your attacking abilities. The chip allows damage to your system to be transformed and charged as weapon energy. You will be able to use it to rapidly shoot charged shots.
Leg Chip: This chip will enable you to dash in the air twice in a row. With the chip your mobility in the air will be greatly enhanced.
Body Chip: This chip will increase your defensive ability. Your defence shields will be enhanced and you will receive even less damage.
Note: If you use a password that gives you the Beam Sabre, Zero will be gone otherwise you will still have Zero.

Hint: Super passwords:
The following password will give you three Sub Tanks, four Heart Tanks, the Robot Capsule for the underwater ride armor, and the Air Dash upgrade for your legs. Also, only Gravity beetle is destroyed and Zero is not dead: 4521-4887-6256-1141.

Enter 3367-8683-6772-3875 as a password for all eight hearts tanks, all four sub-tanks (full), all four chips upgrades (X-Golden Armor, inclued Zero Beam Saber) , all four Robots , nine lives, all Bosses defeated, and the final fight for Sigma.

Enter 4746-5186-6258-7747 as a password for all the modifications except for the Saber, and no chips, Bit destroyed, Byte and Vile not destroyed, all the life ups except for the Gravity Beetle life up, and only Gravity Beetle, The Rhino, and the Electric Catfish destroyed. This will allow you to get the majority of the Bosses yourself, and still be able to get the Golden Armor or pick a chip and have all the modifications and maximum life.

Enter 5414-6685-6872-3114 as a password for everything.

Enter 3487-4135-6315-1156 as a password to have all 8 Hearts, all 4 Robot Armors, all 4 Sub-Tanks, all 4 Body Armor parts, no Chips, Bit, Byte and Vile defeated, and no special weapons. You can defeat all 8 Mavericks with a complete advantage over them and will not have to worry about the three HeadHunters because they are already dead.

Enter 8626-4335-6318-7356 as a password for all but Gravity Beetle's heart tank, all armor upgrades(not the Golden Amor), all sub-tanks, all ride-armors, only Tunnel Rhino and Volt Catfish have been defeated, leaving a decent challenge.

No upgrades, all weapons, 4 sub tanks, 7 heart tanks, Bit Byte and Vile destroyed, Beam Sabre, and last level
Enter 1455-6863-6427-7185 as a password.

Hint: Defeating Byte:
Another way to defeat Byte is to intentionally run into him when he shoots his pod across the screen, right before he dashes. He will dash across the screen and leave Megaman with just a small amount of damage.
Another strategy is to use Tornado Fang on him for more damage.

Hint: Defeating Bit:
Use Triad Thunder to do more damage while fighting Bit.

Hint: Defeating Crush Crawfish:
This trick requires the Arm Upgrade. When you reach the Boss, equip the Triad Thunder Weapon. Climb the wall as you unleash the weapon and keep the button held so that you start to charge it. If done correctly, Crush Crawfish will get hit by the blast as you start to turn yellow. The moment you turn purple, release the button. You will do the "Earthquake" move and Crush Crawfish's health will drop to zero almost instantly.

Hint: Alternate Boss:
Destroy Bit with the Triad Thunder or the Frost Shield, and Byte with the Drill Fang. You will encounter a different Boss at the final Boss stage.

Hint: Zero's Beam Saber:
Defeat Vile with the S. Blades, and have Zero still alive. Play only as X in the first two stages in Dr. Doppler's Lab. In the second stage of Dr. Doppler's Lab, after the water pit area but before the mini-Boss, switch to Zero. Charge up and defeat the "bug". It will fall on Zero, he will be severely damaged, and will give you his Saber. The Saber will be saved with a password.

Hint: Golden Armor and chip enhancement:
When at the first stage of Dr. Doppler's Lab, go through the stage until reaching a pit with falling spiked balls. Cling to the left wall of the pit. Slide down until you fall into a room that contains a capsule. Walk inside to reach the Orange Bomber and get every single enhancement chip. Note: You must have full health and all the power-ups. You may have a chip if this does not work. The Golden Armor can not be saved with a password.

Hint: Body Upgrade without the Arm Upgrade:
Get the Leg Chip. When you get to the area where it normally requires that you have the Arm Upgrade, and Gravity Beetle's attack, with the Leg Chip, dash upwards twice and wall jump off the right wall. If you are lucky, you can land on the wall, and wall jump up.

Hint: Helmet Chip:
The Helmet Chip will also fill up the Sub-Tanks, as well as X's main health.

Hint: Extra Saber damage:
When attacking a Boss, get as far as away as possible. Then, execute the Saber Shot. This will take off about 25% damage then will gradually decrease the life of the boss. This will do more damage than if you had gotten close to the Boss.

Hint: Extra damage for Beam Saber:
If you stand in front of a Boss use the Beam Saber, his life will be halved. However if there is a lot of space between you and the Boss, then he will be almost defeated.

Hint: Fast Beam Saber charge:
Do not get the Arm Upgrade. If you get the Beam Saber that way, you only need to charge until you are yellow.

Hint: Easy power-ups:
Use the Frost Shield on enemies. Not all enemies will give out power-ups, but most will give out big and small.

Hint: Easy extra lives:
In the Doppler stage, where you must defeat all the Bosses, shoot the Beam Saber on the standing object. Usually if you shoot on it, healing power-ups will appear. However, if you shoot on it with the Beam Saber an extra life will appear.

Hint: Unlimited powers:
At the last level (the first of Dr. Doppler's level), there are a lot of little missile launchers. Equip yourself with the ACID, but do not power up. Shoot him with it until it is destroyed and it always leaves you with Power-Ups only.

Hint: Chip Enhancer:
The Chip Enhancer allows you to use all four chips at once. You must first have all the Heart Tanks, all four Sub Tanks filled, all four Robot Suits and the Dash Boots, Mega Buster, Armor and Sensor/Helmet upgrades. Also, you cannot do it with Zero. Go through the first stage of Doppler's Lab until you reach a pit in the part where spiked balls are falling down from above. Then, jump into the pit and cling to the left wall. Slide down to find a hidden tunnel that leads to Dr. Light. He will give you a special Chip Enhancer. This chip will allow you to carry all four chips.

Hint: Toxic Seahorse level: Change K:
Get to the part where you find the Change K, You must have the Air Dash and the Change F to do this. While you are in your Change F armor, jump down into the water and move slightly, but not too far. Make your Change F suit swim to the left, up as far as it can go, then jump out of it. Shimmy up the side of the wall. Next, let yourself slide into the water slightly (while you are still on the wall), then jump towards the end of the ledge holding the Change K. You will not make it, but just when you are on the water tap Jump. You will do a jump off the water. Then, slide straight up and you will get the Change K.

To get this upgrade, you must have your X Buster upgrade and Frost S. Once you are in the water, jump past the first hole and stand slightly to the right of it. Power up the Frost S. so you get the shield ability and the thing floats in the water. Jump on it and ride to the top to get Change K.

Hint: Toxic Seahorse level: Leg upgrade chip:
To get the leg upgrade chip, which lets you dash two times in the air, when you are about to slide down the wall that leads to the water, jump across and get the water vehicle (if you have the tank that allows you to do so). Drop down into the water and make your way to the wall, where you have to go down to fight the mini-Boss. Next, jump out of the vehicle, climb the wall, and you will exit from the water and meet Doctor Light in a capsule. Note: If you try to do this without the water vehicle, the fans on the wall will be on, and will prevent you from climbing the wall by pushing you back.

Hint: Extra scene:
Choose one of the eight levels, switch to Zero and intentionally die. You will see an extra scene where Zero says "Sorry X... I've failed. Looks like my power generator's damaged you can do it. X, you'r our last hope. " Doctor Cain will be standing next to Zero.

Glitch: Walk on water:
If you can get on the top of water, you can jump when you hear a splashing sound.

Glitch: Invincible from lights:
When in Doctor Doppler's lab, stage 2, after you re-fight the Bosses, you will eventually get into a long hallway with lights that attack you if you touch them. Just walk through and they will not hurt you after the second one.

Glitch: Wrong music:
This trick requires Golden Armor, Zero being alive, and Vile not defeated. At the point in Dopper's second stage where you must ride the snails up the spikes, use Zero and intentionally die. You will see Dr. Cain's lab and Zero will say something about his power generator. The music in the background will be the theme from Vile's level, which is found in the hidden teleporters around other levels teleporter.

Glitch: Blizzard Buffalo Boss fight:
There is a small, yet exploitable glitch that exists in this Boss fight. If you get the leg chip upgrade so that you can dash straight up into the air, you can trick the Boss into never hitting you. When the battle starts, dash jump over him (off the wall) and get behind him. When he turns around to charge at you, double jump straight up and the Boss will turn around and ram the wall that is in the opposite direction of where you are standing in relation to the Boss. In other words, this maneuver will trick the Boss into thinking that you jumped over him, and thus makes this Boss the easiest in the entire game.

Glitch: Mega Man changes color:
Near the end of Crush Crawfish's level near is a big generator-type object taking up the wall. When you shoot it, it changes the entire screen. If you have the arm upgrade (not necessarily the chip, just the armor) power up to either purple or red before destroying it. When destroyed with the first shot, Mega Man will stay the color of the charge until you either charge up again or enter a door

Hint: Getting the Dragon Punch:
Get to the third X-hunter stage and continue until reaching a location with two ladders, one on the ground and one near the ceiling, that is unreachable. Lure a bat towards the ceiling ladder. Use the ICQ on the bat, then jump on the bat to reach the ladder. Kill the man with the shield. Allow the bat that appears to follow your character. Shimmy across the wall to the single spot without spikes. Quickly tap B, A to reach a safe spot. Walk up the small set of stairs to find more spikes. Bump into the bat that followed your character to become invincible for a short amount of time. Quickly move past the spikes and use an energy tank, Shimmy down the left wall until your character falls into a room with a capsule. Enter to get the Dragon Punch. To use it, press Forward, Down, Down/Forward, Y after your character is at full health.

You can use the flying platform to navigate to the ladder or freeze a bat and jump on it to get to the ladder. You must kill all the enemies and keep pressing Right to not fall on the spikes. Then, get through the spikes with the Mid-Dash and use the wheel to kill the robots. Then, charge your fire shot and fly across the spikes. Turn around quickly and do a Mid-Dash toward the life. Next, slide down the left side of the walls and get inside the capsule. Press Right, Down, Right, Y to use the Dragon Punch. It is very strong and can kill Agille in one hit, Black Zero in two hits, and Sigma in two to four hits (depending on the move he is doing while you hit him).

Instead of the original way to use Shoryuken (Dragon Punch), press Back, Down, Down/Forward, Attack to do it easier.

Hint: Getting the armor upgrade:
To Enter Metamorph Moth's level after defeating Wheel Alligator, then use the Helmet Search. Where its signal falls, shoot with the Spinning Wheel. You will find the Armor Capsule.

Hint: Defeating Morph Moth:
Instead of using the X-buster, the quickest way is to use Flame Stag's weapon.

Hint: Defeating Violen:
Use the Bubble Beam.

Hint: Defeating the Big Machine with the old man:
Use Magnet Mines to destroy the four guns on the Big Machine.

Hint: Defeating Wire Sponge:
Use the Boomerang Cutter.

Hint: Defeating Overdrive Ostrich:
Use the Crystal Hunter.

Hint: Defeating Wheel Gator:
Use the Strike Chain.

Hint: Defeating Crystal Snail:
Use the Magnet Mine.

Hint: Defeating Magna Centipede:
Use the Silk Shot.

Hint: Defeating Morph Moth:
Use the Flame Stag weapon.
Use a fully charged gravity weapon on Morph Moth. The debris and his "powder" will get sucked into it, and will also damage him.

Hint: Defeating Flame Stag:
Use the Bubble S.

Hint: Defeating Bubble Crab:
Use the Spin Wheel.

Hint: Defeating Mini-Moth:
On Morph Moth's level, get up to the area where you fight the Mini-Moth. Switch to Bubble Splash. It should take about three hits to destroy it.

Hint: Defeating Serges:
To defeat Serges in the X-Hunter levels, use the G. Crush to destroy the four cannons, then use the Sonic Slicer to damage Serges.

Hint: Defeating Sigma:
When Sigma's wire-frame head turns red he will disappear and reappear around you unless you move quickly. Let him surround you and quickly select your Strike Chain. Keep shooting the Chain at him. This weapon should be as powerful as a charged blast.
Use the Sonic Slicer when fighting Sigma (with the claws).

Hint: Defeating the Sigma Virus:
After defeating Sigma's first form, you have to fight him in virus form. He has no energy bar, so you will just have to hit him with all you have got. To hurt him, you must hit him in the eyes with the Third or Final Charged Shot. Anything lower will not work. The Dragon Punch will work, but it is difficult to stay at 100% health in this fight. Sigma will change colors when he gets weaker. He will drop minor enemies onto the floor. Destroy them to get energy capsules. When Sigma turns orange, he will start teleporting around - do not be where he forms or he will trap you. Just keep dashing away from him. Keep shooting and victory will be yours.

Hint: Defeating Zero:
In case you have to fight Zero, use the following tricks. There are only four weapons that will harm Zero: the Third Charged Shot, the Final Charged Shot (Enhanced Cannon required), the Speed Burner, and the Dragon Punch. Zero will block any other weapon. Note: The Dragon Punch will strip half of his health away. When Zero dashes at you, climb up the closest wall you are near -- after he stops dashing, he will pound the ground, causing four rocks to shoot up. You can jump over them. Zero has two projectiles. One is a small green shot which he will fire if you are shooting at him. The second is his trademark Z-slash combo, where he will fire two Third Charge Shots and end with a Beam Saber Slash. The shots will not hurt much, but his Beam Saber will cause drastic damage. Be careful and you will defeat Zero with ease.

Hint: Alternate Wire Sponge victory animation:
If you defeat Wire Sponge with his weakness, he will split in half and explode instead of just exploding.

Hint: Getting Zero's parts:
If you do not get all of Zero's parts you have to fight him until he breaks through Sigma's powers. Here are a few items that could help.

Zero does not stall at all before he shoots his triple shot, so make sure you find the capsule where you get the "ultra charge". Climb a wall as soon as he starts shooting and charge your blaster. Zero should dash over to you and smash the ground, which will cause rocks to appear and hit you. Avoid this by quickly jumping off the wall and on to the floor. By now your weapon should be fully charged. Shoot one mega-blast to block Zero's first blast, then wait until the second blast is about to hit you. Then, shoot the second blast to block the one that is about to hit you. Some of the blasts surrounding the second blast should block Zero's cape swing. Finally, the rest of the blasts surrounding the second one should hit Zero. This will take one line of energy away from Zero.

Another way to damage him is to use the Speed Burner. Note: This will not block shots, so wait until he is not on the offense nor defense. The Speed Burner will not damage him if he is blocking.

To block shots easily and quickly, use the Spin Wheel. Note: This will not harm Zero -- it will only block shots.

Hint: Race against Zero:
Successfully complete the game without getting any armor upgrades. In the ending credits, you will see Zero dash past you when the screen shifts.

Hint: Deep Sea Base: Filling your energy:
When you are in the Deep Sea Base, after the big fish opens up the gate (not the one he came out of), hang off the wall on the left until you enter a room with nothing in it. Go in the middle and charge up your Silk Shot (X Blaster upgrade required). When it is fully charged, a handful of energy capsules will appear. This is a good way to fill your energy and subtanks.

Hint: Overdrive Ostrich level:
In Overdrive Ostrich's stage, instead of going to all that trouble on the bike to get the heart tank, sacrifice yourself (after completing the stage and are at 0 lives). Then, charge up the flame weapon, jump normally, release the charge, then do a air slide.

In Overdrive Ostrich's stage, there is a small chamber or room before crossing the bridge that has nothing in it. Use Morph Moth's weapon in that room. You will notice that nothing will happen. Charge it up fully to see energy icons or ring type energy items appear. Use them to refill your energy or sub-tanks.

Hint: Best order of game play:
Wire Sponge, Wheel Gator, Bubble Crab, Flame Stag, Morph Moth, Magma Centipede, Crystal Snail, Overdrive Ostrich.

Try the following order: Morph Moth, Magna Centipede, Crystal Snail, Overdrive Ostrich, Wire Sponge, Wheel Gator, Bubble Crab, Flame Stag.

Hint: Finding hidden items:
Look in the ceiling or cave tops to find hidden items and other objects. Note: This is mainly on stages where you cannot see the ceiling, such as Flame Stag or Bubble Crab.

Hint: Changing scenery:
When defeating a Boss or Bosses. The scenery view of the level at the level selection screen will change as follows.
Wheel Gator: The huge gator truck will be destroyed from the front.
Bubble Crab: The two objects floating in the water near the dock will be gone.
Flame Stag: The lava flowing out of the volcano will stop flowing.
X-Hunter's stage 1: The upper or lower right side of the base will be destroyed.
X-Hunter's stage 2: The bottom left or right side of the base will be destroyed.
X-Hunter's stage 3: The green towers on the base will be destroyed.
X-Hunter's stage 4: The Large pink towers on the base will be destroyed.

Glitch: Zero misfires:
At the final level of Sigma's Fortress, just as you are walking into the room where you would fight Zero, or Zero would destroy the copy Zero, perform the Shoryuken Uppercut. You will not walk back to the left side when the door shuts. Depending on how far you are when you land, it will appear as if Zero has his back against X's when Sigma disappears. When he tears the hole in the ground it will seem more dramatic because you do not have to jump in. Also, if you wait until you land to stop Zero's dialogue, you will be able to move while Sigma is talking to you. If you land very far into the room after performing the Shoryuken (next to copy Zero or farther), Zero's second set of attacks (aimed at Sigma) will instead hit you.

Glitch: Mini-moth within robot:
On the Morph Moth stage, go as if you are going to fight the second mini-moth. Immediately before you go to fight the second mini-moth (about one step away from locking the screen for battle), go back up the ladder to the left where you came from then go to the right. Once you are directly above the second mini-moth area, the screen will glitch with a version of the mini-moth within the robot. You cannot get rid of this after it is triggered, and you must restart.

Mega Man X Super Nintendo Cheats

Ryu's Fireball
To get this you must have everything like ALL 8 hearts,ALL sub-tanks,ALL bosses defeted(exceped Sigma,All capsuls,go to Armored Armadillo's stage and go through the stage 6 times without getting Killed, then go to Sigma, when Sigma transforms into that robot try to escape,if that does not work, let him kill you, then go back to Armored Armadillo's stage, when you get to that point when you have to jump, jump up to the top there and there should be a capsule, then you see Dr. Light in Ryu's suit, when he gets done talking jump in and Ta-Da you now have Ryu's Fireball !

Super Armor,Super Boots and Super Xbuster
When you enter the code you get all that is on the title plus you get to the second set of bosses. Turn on the game, when you get to the screen where you get to choose either start game, password, or options go to the password and hit B. Then you come up to where there are these creatures in construction hats. Right above them there are numbers. There are twelve numbers and creatures. All the numbers are the same. To change the numbers hit the up or down. and the code should be entered like this:

7431
3842
8523

After you type in the code hit the start button and you get to the level with all the items.

Hint: Ice Penguin stage is important
Here's why:
1. Gives you Dash boots, which in turn are needed to get the other upgrades.
2. Gives you Shotgun Ice, which is strong against Spark Mandrill, Maverick Spider, and Velgauder.
3. Gives you one of the 8 health powerups.
4. Also gives you Chill Penguin, who is, in my opinion, the easiest boss.

Hint: Slice
Get the Boomerang Cutter. Use it on Flame Mammoth. After a few hits, his trunk will fall off, and he won't be able to shoot out oil or change the direction of the conveyor belt. Now, use it on Launch Octopus. After a few hits, his tentacles will fall off, and he won't be able to create a water spout or shoot out homing fish.

Extra lives
Go to Armored Armadillo's stage. Jump on the first mine cart and jump off, so it rolls away without you. On the ceiling there are little roosts with bats on them. Run until you see one with a different bat on it. This bat is actually from an original Mega Man game. Destroy the bat. It should drop a life. If it doesn't, run back until its roost goes completely off the screen. Run back towards the roost and the bat will be back. It will usually drop a life when shot. Repeat until you have 9 lifes!

Boss Weaknesses
Chill Pengiun- Fire Wave
Launch Octopus- Rolling Shield
Boomer Kuwanger- Hooming Missle
Storm Eagle- Chameleon Sting
Flame Mamoth- Storm Tornado
Spark Mandrill- Shotgun Ice
Sting Chameleon- Boomerang Cutter
Armored Armadillo- Spark
Sigma Stage 1 Spider Weakness- Shotgun Ice
Sigma Stage 2 Robotic Face Weakness- Chameleon Sting
Sigma Stage 3 Attack Vehicle Weakness- Boomerang Cutter
Sigma's Weakness- Spark
Sigma's Head Weakness- can only be damaged by Rolling Shield
Vile- Vile is weak against almost all weapons

A good tip with C. Sting #1.
Here is one good strategy you may like.

Here is what you do.

First (1st): Defeat Sting Chameleon or enter a code or a Game Genie code or any other type o' (of) codes or combine any type o' codes to get C. Sting (Chameleon Sting) from Sting Chameleon.

Second: After obtaining C. Sting, press start and select C. Sting or press R or L until Mega Man X (
MMX) is the color green.

Third: After
MMX is green, charge it up until MMX has pink colors around him & (and) shoot, you'll be temperarely INVINCIBLE to everything except from falling into a hole TTBO'MK (To The Best Of My Knowledge).

Easy way to defeat Strom Eagle
Storm Eagle can be a pain in the neck if you don't know how do deal with him. His biggest strength is that he can blow you off the arena. This requires the Dash Boots. When he shoots his gusts, continually press the dash button until you're close enough to him. Shooting him while dashing is also a good way to inflict major damage.

Easy Mode
For some reason, if you go through the game a certain order, the game is much easier. Do the levels in this order:

Chill Penguin
Storm Eagle
Spark Mandrill
Armored Armidillo
Flame Mammoth
Sting Chameleon
Launch Octopus
Boomer Kwanger
and, oviously, Sigma.

Easy Way to defeat Boomer Kwanger
You'll need Launch Octopuss' weapon for this. Just use the homing torpedos to induce serious damage AND make him faulter.

Upgrade Locations
These are where X can find his upgrades

Legs- Located in plain sight in Chill Penguin's level. In fact, its in such plain sight you literally can't advance without getting them.

Head- Located in Storm Eagle's Level. While scaling the large, grey wall, drop onto the other side when done. You'll find ground, and a ledge. Stand at the edge and dash-jump up to the ledge and obliterate the explosive tanks. Go throught the newly opened tunnel to recieve the head upgrade.

Chest- Located in Sting Chameleon's level. Prior to where you run for dear life from falling rocks, dash up to the side of the cavern, and fight this type of miniboss. kill it to find the chest upgrade.

Arms- Given to ou by your commerade, Zero just before he dies. Follow the main story.

Arms (Alt)- Located in flame mammoth's level. Get to where you hop onto the metal walkways above the lava. Look at the top of the screen to see these blue blocks. It takes a while, but you can reach them by dashing off the very edge of the ledge, and break the blocks with your head upgrade. Continue up to find the Arm Upgrades.

Easy way to defeat Launch Octopus
To beat Launch Octopus with ease, you need to defeat Armed Armadillo. His weapon does major damage to the invertabrate, but sadly has no amusing effects. Enjoy.

Easy way to defeat Armored Armadillo
This is one of the most annoying bosses out there, for the simple fact that he blocks so much. To take care of this, defeat spark mandrill to get his weapon, then when the Armadillo is in -plain sight, give him one shot. His armor falls off, and you go from fighting Armed Armadillo to Naked Armadillo. Now, he's really easy, and funny to look at.

Easy way to defeat Flame Mammoth
To bring the elephant down, its rather simple. Beat Storm Eagle and get his Tornado Shot. Go to Flame Mammoth's stage and find him. Use the Tornado to knock him straight on his bum. Be careful though, he weighs a lot. He's dangerous just by falling.

Easy way to defeat Spark Mandrill
Wanna show the monkey whose boss? Of course you do! First, you need to defeat chill penguin. Get his ice blaster and find Spark Mandrill. Shoot him with it to not only do major dmage, but to freeze him in his tracks. That's right! He gets frozen. Just kill him any way you choose.

Easy way to defeat Vile
Use Launch Octopus' Homing Torpedo to do massive damage. Sadly, there are not amusing effects.

Ending bonus:
Complete the game and wait approximately one minute at the thank you screen.

Extra life:
Enter 2656 6418 3242 as a password, then go to Armored Armadillo stage. Before the boss gate , climb over the top to find found a big life power-up. Collect it, then exit the stage. Repeat this less than five times and you can find a hidden weapon next to the big life power-up. Note: Make sure the spare life is full.

Have Mega Man sit:
Begin game play on Storm Eagle's stage. Pause game play and press A, B, A(3), B(2), A, B, Select.

Hint: Getting the Hadouken fireball:
Get all items except for the Hadouken. Fill up all four energy tanks and enter the Armored Armadillo's level. Get on the cart just before the end, then jump over to the wall. Shimmy up the wall, then quit the level. Repeat this approximately five or six times until a capsule appears. Enter the capsule to gain the Hadouken. To use it, press Down, Forward, Y after your character is at full health.

Get every item, then successfully complete the Armored Armadillo level four times. Your life meter must be full at the end of each time. On the fourth time, climb up the wall at the end of the level to find a capsule that contains Dr. Light. He will give you the fireball attack. To use this, your life and all of your abilities must be full. Rotate the D-pad and press Y. Note: This status will not save and must be unlocked again with each new game session.

Note: You must have Acceleration and Helmet. Go to the Flame Mammoth stage. Get to the beginning part of the miners that throw picks at you. Notice on the left and up high are a few sections of wall that are darker then the rest. Press A, B to dash jump and break through that wall. Inside is a capsule that will pop up, and you get the Hadouken.

Get all the parts, sub-tanks, and heart tanks. Go to the Armored Armadillo stage. When you get to the last cart ride, jump. You will see the capsule by the energy. Go inside. To do the Fireball, press Down, Down/Forward, Forward.

You must get everything, then play through the Armored Armadillo stage five times getting the health item, then quitting after you get it. The fifth time you get up the ledge, there should be a capsule containing the Hadouken Fireball. To fire the Hadouken, press Down(2), Left(2), Y.

Hint: Get Upgraded X-Buster early:
The Helmet, Boots, and some luck are required for this trick. You usually get the Upgraded X-Buster from Zero, but you can get it much earlier than that. In the Flaming Mammoth Stage, there is a part where mine workers throw picks at you, and where you get the heart and sub-tank. Before you enter there, there is a small location that you can break with your helmet just at the entrance of that room. With luck, you can reach the place with your boots and break the blocks with your helmet. Then, climb straight up to get it.

Hint: Better weapons:
Hold Shoot until Mega Man turns purple, use L + R to select the desired weapon, then release.
Ice --- The ice shotgun will create an ice sled that you can ride. It will break apart when it hits an enemy that has armor.
Tornado --- The tornado will create a giant vertical tornado. It will not suck people in, but it will kill anyone who touches it.
Missiles --- The missiles will turn into blade-like objects that will have more of an effect on enemies. They are also homing.
Spark --- The spark will create two walls on both sides of you that will kill anything on contact, except for Bosses.
Sting --- The sting will make you invincible for a short amount of time. You can walk through enemies, but not walls.
Shield --- The shield will create a giant shield around you, but it will shut off after hitting something.
Blades --- The blades will turn into giant versions that make a loop before going off the screen.
Fire --- The fire will create a wall of fire that will go along on the ground until it reaches an edge. Note: It takes awhile to charge up so do not use it during Boss battles.

Hint: E-Tank locations:
Flame Mammoth stage --- Go until reaching the little opponents that throw the picks at you. Instead of going to the exit, go up the platforms until you reach the extra life. Dash left and jump to find an E-tank.

Storm Eagle stage --- Go to the part just before the hover platforms. When you see the opponent on the rising platform, kill it. Ride the platform to the building in the air, and shoot through the glass.

Armored Armadillo stage --- When you reach the first cliff with the miner machine, set the machine off, climb the wall, and run to where the machine started.

Spark Mandrill stage --- You will need to get the Boomerang Cutters first. Go to where you can climb a ladder up or down. Go down and destroy the defense units. Do not go up the next ladder. Instead, equip your Boomerangs and jump straight into the air and fire one. It will catch the E- tank and return it to you.

Hint: Boss weaknesses:
Chill Penguin: Fire
Launch Octopus: Shield
Armored Armadillo: Spark
Storm Eagle: Sting
Spark Mandrill: Ice

Chill Penguin
Armored Armadillo
Launch Octopus
Storm Eagle
Sting Chameleon
Boomer Kuwanger
Flame Mammoth
Spark Mandrill

Hint: Extra lives in Armored Armadillo stage:
At the very beginning of Armored Armadillo's stage, there is a cart that goes down for a short distance before leveling out again. On the ceiling are a few places where the roof juts out a bit. On each of these is a bat. On around the fifth one is a small black ball that when you approach reveals itself to be another bat, though you do not see these anywhere else. They are actually visitors from some of the original Megaman games. You cannot shoot them while they are in ball form. Wait for them to start flying towards you. Also, these bats happen to give you an extra life quite often, so this is a good place to stock up.

Instead of taking the wheeled cart, walk down instead. On the way down the slopeyou will see a huge bat. Kill the bat and it will usually drop a life. Do this repeatedly to get as many lives as desired.

To do this trick, you must have all the power-ups except the Hadouken Fireball. Go to the Armored Armadillo stage and on the very first cart, do not get on it. Instead, start walking until there is a brown round ball on the roof. It is actually a bat. Shoot it with the second powered up X-Buster and an extra life will appear. Do this as many times as desired.

Hint: Easy Subtank fill-up in Armored Armadillo stage:
the rolling shield to create a shield around yourself, then just walk along the beginning ramp and let the shield wipe out the bats without worrying about taking any damage.

Hint: Dash boots in Chill Penguin's stage:
After the rolling enemies and the bats, wall jump up the rock wall. The dash boots will be in a capsule just after the ledge you land on

Hint: Armor upgrade in Sting Chameleon stage:
Before you enter the tunnel with the falling rocks, climb up the wall above it. There will be a green machine there. Fight it. Note: Its weak point is the head. When you defeat it, a capsule will appear from the ground. The armor upgrade will be inside. Note: This will also stop the falling rocks in the tunnel.

Before you go into the cave where the rocks fall from the ceiling, dash jump onto the ledge and wall kick up it. Once you reach the top, a tower of rocks will fall behind you, and a powerful claw enemy will attack. Shoot at its head and dash under it when it jumps. Wall kick up the wall when it uses its claw attack. After you defeat it, an upgrade capsule will appear containing the Power Armor. The rock tower behind you will explode and no rocks will fall in the cave, except for the rock throwing enemies.

Hint: Energy Extender at Sting Chameleon stage:
Go to the place where the rocks fall from the roof. Do not go in. There will be a hole there. Slide down it. On the right side, there should be brown bricks. Jump from side to side until they all break. When you are done breaking bricks, stand there and dash forward before you are at the edge. If you make it across, the Energy Extender should be there on a platform.

Hint: Helmet upgrade in Storm Eagle's stage:
After the series of platforms and flamethrower enemies, you will reach a tower that you must wall kick to advance. Slide down the opposite side and dash jump onto the ledge. Inside a room is the Helmet upgrade.

Hint: Energy Extender at Launch Octopus stage:
Go forward until you see a tornado-like thing that goes up. It is blue in color. Get on one and you will go up out of the ocean. If you do not see a ship with oil cans on it and little flying robots that appear, keep going forward. If you see more, go on them until you see a ship. It will be on the right side. On the front of it is something that resembles a blue circle. Shoot it with your fire until it starts smoking. Stay on it. It will sink. Wait until it touches the bottom. You will fight a metal snake. Defeat it and it will explode. When it is done exploding, keep going to the right and the Energy Extender should be there.

Hint: Fill health tanks and weapons energy in Sigma's stage:
You will start at the bottom of a "pit". Charge yourself with the shield weapon so that you have a shield around you. Climb up the wall and stand next to the holes on either side where the bugs come out. Keep jumping up on the wall and stay directly on the hole. The bugs will come out and your shield will kill them. Each time you kill them you will get an item such as an extra life, health, or energy for your weapons.

Hint: Defeating Armored Armadillo:
Shoot the Armored Armadillo with your electric spark gun when he is vulnerable. It will electrocute him, all his armor will fall off, and he will be much easier to kill.

Hint: Defeating Flame Mammoth:
Get the Boomerang Cutter and go to Flame Mammoth's stage. When you reach him, use the Bommerang Cutter on him. After a few hits, his trunk will fall off, and he will not be able to shoot out oil or change the conveyor belt's direction.

Hint: Defeating Launch Octopus:
To get rid of Launch Octopus's Piranha "homing missiles", use the Boomerang Cutter a few times to cut off his arms.

Hint: Defeating Sigma:
Use the Sting Shot.

For Sigma's head, if you sit on the right hand, slightly to the left, you will not get hit as much. You can just stand there and shoot him.

When battling Sigma's last form, use Rolling Shield on his head. Do a jump, then shoot. Note: This seems to be the only weapon that can damage him.

Hint: Defeating Sigma's pet:
The Wind weapon is most effective.

Hint: Defeating Storm Eagle:
Get the Dash Boots on Chill Penguin's level. Then, go to Storm Eagle's level and proceed until you battle him. When he is on foot, he might spit out mini-eagles at you or try to blow you off the plane. When he spits the mini-eagles out, dodge them with Dash, then destroy them. If he tries to blow you off the plane, dash towards him and fire at him. Keep firing until he flies back up. When he swoops down at you, keep dodging him. Repeat this process until he is defeated.

Use the following trick complete the Storm Eagle stage in ten seconds or less. Start the level and jump on the moving platforms with the robots that grab you and explode. Jump to the levels with a robot that shoots a spiked ball and chain. You can complete the level instantly. Jump and shoot the ball as it is about to hit you. If done correctly, and you cannot get hit, the screen should fade and you should receive the Storm Tornado.

Hint: Defeating Vile:
When Zero destroys Vile's powerful armor, you will start fighting Vile. Use missiles. They are very effective against him.

Hint: Defeating the last master:
Keep climbing wall on left side all the way to the top while recharging your shot. When he jumps off the wall directly under you, jump off the wall, then shoot and rapidly climb the wall again. You should be away from his offense, and in the air he has no defense.

Hint: Password warning:
You cannot save the Hadouken (fire ball) in a password, nor can you save where you were in the fortress using a password. You will have to always get the Hadouken again and redo the fortress.
